Snow Station

Since it's coming to that time of the year of frost, snow and best of all Christmas. I decided I'd make a start on putting some snow to the layout.

I started with fake snow in bags, shredded paper type. But with paper vehicles can't move on it so well, so I started thinking about something more like powder. Flour and sugar, but after a while they both go off. So something that would last longer, and I decided I would use talc powder. 
Scattering all over the layout, here's how it looks. And I think it looks absolutely amazing!  

British Railways Jinty 47488 arriving into Biggsfordshire station on the branch line with the early morning train, only few passengers about. Most keeping warm by the waiting room fire.
